Budapest among the best student cities in Europe
Based on a survey by The Campus Advisor, Daily News Hungary published the European university ranking, in which Budapest ranked 4th. The analysis is based over 17,000 authentic ratings by students and reflecting the real experiences of those with first hand knowledge.

The definitive list evaluates key factors such as the proportion of students in the population, academic environment, student friendliness, cost of living, cultural diversity, nightlife, public transport, amenities and safety. Perhaps it is strange, but in the night life category, Amsterdam and Dublin received fewer votes than Budapest. According to the votes of students, the other outstanding features of Budapest are the amenities, student friendliness and safety.
Another interesting feature of the rankings is that, in addition to Budapest, another Hungarian city, Pécs, is also on the list. It ranks 14th in the overall list, but in the lists by category Pécs is in first place in the cost of living category.
