We appreciate your interest in spending a semester with us! By joining our program, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Central Europe. Our departments and our practice-oriented workshops have small class sizes, creating a friendly, diverse, and inclusive atmosphere that fosters a close relationship between master and students. Additionally, you’ll have access to high-tech equipment in our renovated, spacious studios.

Erasmus Exchange students: as an incoming Erasmus exchange student you can apply for one semester or for the whole academic year.  Erasmus exchanges are always based on agreements between UTFA and its partner Universities.

Please mind that we can only issue a certificate about the Active student status if the applicant has fulfilled the conditions of the admission process.

Applicants can apply directly via email, meeting the deadlines. We accept BA,MA level applicants. Please note we can accept PHD/DLA applicants for the Hungarian language programme only.

How to apply:

  • Please, ask your home school Erasmus exchange coordinator to nominate you via email to erasmus@szfe.hu
  • Following your nomination, you will be eligible to fill out an online application form. The form requests some personal data for administrative reasons, info about your current studies and home school.
  • Send your application documents to erasmus@szfe.hu as pdfs.

  • Transcript of Records

In your documents, please specify your chosen study area and study level here at UTFA. You can embed links to your art works (eg: films) into your attached documents. We do not accept files via file transfer systems.

You can expect the application result information shortly after the application deadline.

  • 10 November for the Spring semester

Course list:

Students can complete their programme selecting from these courses. We can offer the same block for each semester, however there might be some slight variations.

The language of instruction is English. Having a language certification is not obligatory to apply, however a strong B2 level knowledge is required in English or in Hungarian.

 

Transcript of records:

Students will receive their Transcript of Records after finishing their exchange semester at UTFA, as a pdf. document, via email. The Transcript will contain their courses fulfilled, the ECTS credit numbers and the grades.

UTFA applies: ETCS credit system

UTFA maintains a  dormitory,  but operates with limited capacity.  Address:

Accommodation for Erasmus students depends on the dormitory’s capacity.
